From Cincinnati roots and West Virginia college days, through law school at St. Mary's in San Antonio, Bob has built a distinguished career that spans the worlds of law, real estate, academia, and storytelling.

As an experienced commercial real estate developer and licensed Texas attorney, Bob brings decades of hands-on expertise to everything he does. He has served as a longtime professor at the University of Texas in San Antonio, teaching real estate development, finance, and construction to the next generation of industry professionals.

His acclaimed textbook, Who, What, Where, Why and How: Principles of Developing Commercial Real Estate, along with its companion Step-by-Step Guide, has been recognized by The Broker List, Real Estate Bees, Buildout, and Reonomy as one of the best books on commercial real estate.

Beyond the professional world, Bob is the creative force behind the Ripfolds Trilogy — a suspenseful fiction series that blends emotion, wonder, and adrenaline across three books. His next project, The Iron Worker: The Untold Story of the Statue of Liberty, is currently in development.
